2·13 hours agoGood point. Almost every other PL club would gnaw their right arm off to have a manager as talented and devoted to them as Arteta is to us. We are incredibly lucky to have him!
Other clubs love to crow about heritage and legacy. But on those fronts we are miles ahead of the likes of Man City and Chelsea. They have former players who remember them fondly. We have former players who would go to hell and back for us.

Maybe Mikel wanted to stretch the pitch out length-wise? Like, lure Everton’s wingers deeper into the final third so they weren’t double-marking Saka and Noni (it whoever we played on our wings)? Our wingers could also take advantage of pockets left between their wingers and fullbacks. Seems like an unnecessarily risky move though.
