Finally a bit of breathing room again (even though Man City have a game in hand). Forest you beauties! I hope they can stay up. Club with genuine pedigree.
And West Ham won too. The spuds are slowly getting baked.
I let the stream run a couple of minutes after the game and the away fans suddenly went manic as soon as the Man City game ended. It was beautiful to watch :)
Really needed them to drop points somewhere and definitely gives us some more breathing room with their extra game in hand. We just need to continue as we are, scrappy wins and all!
Haha, that’s brilliant about the away fans!
And Man United lost to ten man Newcastle too. Carrick’s insane win record for a new manager was starting to irritate me. So I’m happy about that result.
And other old mate gets to keep his hair. Win-win.
I completely forgot about that! I had a bad feeling the moment he took over and were versing us not much longer.
I guess the benefit was that they took 3 off City as well.
Creating this because I didn’t see one already. Mods: feel free to take it down if an official one exists.
Mods plural when you and everyone know damn well I’m the only mod still active lol
Haha, fair point!
As I said to my Brighton season ticket holder friend:
It was weird, I think you bossed almost all of the game but I didn’t feel that stressed about it. 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t give a single tug about the external noise, other fans, shit pundits, the lot. It’s clickbait/jealousy. We will play our way.
There are only/still 6 (?) wins to go* but let’s drink the golden nectar of the football gods whenever they give it to us.
*If the season gets canceled tomorrow because of the break out of WW3, do we win the league?
If the season gets cancelled…
A valid concern and another reason why winning this year is crucial. We may go down as the last team to win the league.
This is something I hadn’t even considered…
I was finally able to watch a full game! (courtesy of finishing my previous job yesterday).
Brighton really took the game to us and we struggled to get out of our own half. Gyökeres struggled to hold to keep the ball and Martinelli was pretty absent. Havertz and Trossard made a difference instantly. So many good individual moments, Rice obviously and Hincapie was fantastic!
Kudos to Brighton and their whiney fans and manager xD
Gets me every time :)
The scheduling thing didn’t work. Weird. Maybe I fucked smth up
