We’ve been on rolling release war my whole life.
Now with Co(makazie)Pilot
Eternal war is just what empires do. We stopped smashing the empires together directly every couple decades because of nukes, but the eternal war angle is nothing new to humanity.
So basically the plot of MGS4
with unskippable cutscenes ALL THE FUCKING TIME

Thanks, I hate it.
Blowing up elementary schools near you!
“Blowing up elementary schools near you (new)” or “Blowing up elementary schools near you (classic)”?
Rolling release warfare.
“Bleeding edge”
Israel, approx 80K, Syria 600K, Ukraine over 2 million, USA vs. Iran God knows. Ongoing wars in Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Ethiopia and more.
Russia, USA, Iran, and Turkey (at least) are all fighting in Syria right now.
Myanmar is going to be studied for military tactics for at least the next 50 years
I’d actually be interested in hearing you elaborate on that. What’s going on in Myanmar specifically that’s different from previous conflicts?
The civil war has had all sorts of unique tactics used, because it’s an asymmetric war between multiple armed groups and the government. The military has had some success countering the nonstate actors with hit and run tactics utilizing knowledge of the terrain to counter the insurgencies. The military is also going scorched earth to suppress dissent. Arms are coming in from Russia to support the Junta.
Meanwhile, the insurgencies are supporting the populace and successfully fighting the military.
I guess that still just sounds like an insurgency to me? Sorry, I’m not arguing with you or doubting you, just clarifying that none of what you’ve said really conveys what’s new or unique about the situation.
I mean, you don’t owe me shit, if it’s too much to get into or whatever you’re free to just tell me to fuck off. I’m genuinely curious about what you’re seeing that’s different here, but it’s not not my place to make any demands of your time if you’re not looking to get into it.
I appreciate the reply either way.
I’m not a military expert and don’t know much about the situation either, tbh. But I’ve heard from people I trust online that served in the military (not Myanmar’s, fwiw) talking about how unique the tactics are and how the war is reshaping military tactics across the world
Gotcha. Totally fair answer. I’ll try to look into it more myself.
i think they use claude instead of copilot for war
it’s probably some customized qwen by now
I thought OpenAI sniped that contract

I wonder how people with an IQ of a potato will survive if even a small conflict starts in their locality, let alone a world war.
By acting fucking vile? Exploiting others is incredibly easy, conscience is what stops most people from doing it.
Wouldn’t lower IQ make it easier?
Actually not, it only happens in YouTube videos that say “a dull sword is more dangerous than a sharp one”.
Fascinating analogy. But I meant like easier to cope emotionally.
The low IQ people are gonna be the ones duped into starting the conflict.

It’s invisible…
