I know we’ve had at least three posts on this topic so far. I can see from the comments that a lot of people were not or are not aware of this relationship.

I think this is important because it points to something that runs contrary to Ed Sheeran’s public statement, where he excused his dismissal of a musician speaking up for Palestine.

Can we also talk about how his #1 song is promoting heterosexuality? More than 80 % of children who heard Shape of You in the 2010s now identify as heterosexual, and it continues to air on the radio and show up on streaming services without as much as a content warning. What the fuck?

Let’s not forget who he is sucking up to:

In 2019, Kraft was among 25 people facing first-degree misdemeanor charges for soliciting prostitution at a day spa.[143] His attorney electronically entered a not-guilty plea, and later submitted a court filing where Kraft waived arraignment, pled not guilty to all charges and requested a jury trial.[149] A memo filed by Kraft’s attorneys revealed that hidden cameras had been installed when investigators entered the facility under the guise of suspected human trafficking.[154] A Palm Beach County judge ruled that prosecutors could not use the videos in their case, citing privacy concerns.[155] A Florida appeals court also ruled that Kraft’s constitutional rights were violated, and all the charges were dropped.[160] U.S. District Judge Rodolfo Ruiz ordered the videos to be destroyed.[161]

In 2026, it was revealed that Kraft had kept a relationship with child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and that Epstein had recommended Kraft use his lawyer to defeat the charges.[162]

In early 2022, Kraft’s engagement to New York City-based ophthalmologist Dana Blumberg (who is 33 years Kraft’s junior[163]) was announced by Tommy Hilfiger at the inaugural amfAR Gala Palm Beach event.[164] Kraft and Blumberg reportedly had begun dating in 2017.[111] They married in New York City in October 2022.[163] Ed Sheeran performed at the wedding.[165]

Can’t believe a spineless corporate weasel would act this way. :-p

Almost makes you wonder how high profile celebrities attain their position and continue to get circulation. You begin to think maybe someone like Brittney Spears or Post Malone repping for reactionary political interests might have been incentivized in some way.

Sheeran is officially Epstein class then, yeah, through and through? Not only is he wealthy with no soul, but he loves how sweet Kraft is who was friends with Epstein.

Funny enough, when that episode aired, I had no idea who Ed Sheeran was. I didn’t even clock that it was supposed to be a cameo. And apparently my Internet Silo was pretty deep, because I also missed all the uproar about it. I learned about it after THIS incident…

So weird that this is blowing up the day after I finally started season 8 and I never realized / knew who he was in the cameo

I stopped caring about the show after season 5 so except for the ending and some select scenes it’s all I’ve really seen.

You’d have to have read the books to notice the shift in writing quality. What made AOIAF books unique was how GRRM build the world through the eyes/perspectives of characters. Season 1 especially, every scene had this invisible layer that you could only see if you’d read the chapter and heard the thoughts of the person whose perspective it was told from.

Season 4 onward diverted heavily from this as they introduced more and more non-canon material.

As someone who pre-ordered his hardcovers as they came out… I’m very spiteful towards GRRM for not finishing the books and think Game of Ed Sheeran is the legacy he deserves after selling out so blatantly.

The whole “Supporting the active murdering of children because they’re from an ethnic group who the self-proclaimed representatives of my ethnicity deem to be ‘vermin’” should be a big red flag on somebody’s character.

This is as much so now as it was back in the 1930s.

I highly doubt it was an typical, noncorrupt interaction with the government where he footed upfront costs and got no special tax breaks because of it.

At least from now in they have something other than Ted Nugent and Kid Rock to play at trump rallies.

Why does he always remind me of the Mangalores from fifth element. He has always kinda had this skeevy look behind his smile, or something, too. All of this stuff coming out about him makes sense, none of it seems unfitting.
