I don’t mean like I fantisize of it. I literally dream of it in sleep. Like last night I dreamed about inspecting welds under a high magnifying microscope. Then a woman comes up and asks a unrelated question so I get up and go help her fix an electrical test system. I don’t really know the solution so I just list off two people who probably know and helped with similar issues I had and then I woke up.

God damn it brain if I’m going to work for you then I should get paid by you…

Other day I was making a spreadsheet in excel. After a while I got up to go to coffee machine. A former Co worker comes up and tells me about his daughter going to school that morning. I just wanted some coffee but it didn’t matter. I had to listen to this guy’s daughter school drop off. Then I woke up in real life…

    Well if it makes you feel better, I’m at risk of redundancy and last night I dreamt of being in a meeting where I was told “have you told your family you might not get a job after this?”. Cue waking up in cold sweat and palpitations at 4am and laying there for 30 minutes until I decided the best solution was to start to apply for jobs since I wasn’t sleeping anyway.

    The bottom line is, we are fucked one way or the other.

      I need to thank you, something about this cartoon you posted (& I deeply analyzed because I hate working, LOVE sleeping, & LOATHE the oppressive corporate & capitalism pressures & IRS overlords that squeeze out every last drop of our life force), snapped me out of a 1 week bipolar depression I was even hospitalized and suddenly I got butterflies in my tummy and started writing a to-do list and I think I can start living again.

    I was recently laid off and had contemplated going back to the retail store I’ve worked at before. That night I literally dreamt of the interview talking about how well I know the store and introducing myself at the store again. I hate it here.
