In Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood, which is set in 1969, there’s a close-up scene of a turntable with what looks like an Audio Technica AT3600L cartridge installed. As far as I can tell the 3600(L) didn’t come out until the late 70s.

Edit: On second thought, the 3600L looks pretty similar to the ATP-1, which came out in 1962.

Fair, but the keybinds for the basic functions like saving or copy/paste are simpler in Nano. I guess Vim doesn’t really use keybinds so much as it uses commands?

There’s something nice about having a basic setup that you can just tear down and rearrange on a whim. Most importantly, there’s less to go wrong :|

Honestly, I don’t think we can really stop them. The only people they have to answer to are politicians/government officials and those can be bribed. Sure, we can protest data centres and stuff but even if we’re victorious in stopping one from getting built in place a, there’s always a place b.

I had been using the same metal frame full time for the last decade until recently when I got a new one of the same model, that older frame now has tinted lenses in it and ensures that I look cool in all lighting conditions.

Compared to plastic frames they’re also much more repairable.

Hey, at least we’ll be able to make one last upgrade before we die.

They don’t realise that it’s gonna be their own funeral, too. Sure, Elmo and Bebos will most likely die of old age (or drug abuse) in a few decades but many of those cunts are under 30, and they absolutely will have to deal with the apocalyptic consequences of their actions.
