It feels like Akinator is a lot worse than it used to be. It’s still decent but it feels far less accurate.
Akinator definitely had a “sweet spot” where its data set was large enough to guess just about anything popular but small enough not to have too many hyper-niche things confusing it.
Give it the character from a Chinese drama and it will almost certainly fail. Especially if the character is complicated, like they share two identities.
Didn’t know who comrade Chairman Liu Shaoqi was. Darn bot knew Lin Bao, but not the good Chairman!
Surprisingly bot knew Paul Robeson.
