I remember in college going to a talk about the situation put on by some Venezuelan students.
Among other things, like saying the NYT’s reporting on protesters firebombing the aid convoys was untrue or misleading because “Maduro controls everything that leaves the country”, I remember one of them putting it pretty frankly that they would prefer intervention and rule by Trump/Americans than Maduro.
Wonder what they’re up to now!
