Does this belong in fitness? I skimmed the article and it sounds like major woo woo but I’m sure foot piggies will be happy!
Pseudoscientific nonsense. Touching your feet to the earth will not electrically remove free radicals from your body, it makes no sense theoretically. Time in nature generally is the big benefit here. But walking barefoot is just putting yourself at unnecessary risk while doing it. Could lead to more slips and falls, puncture wounds, or parasites like hookworm or just ticks.
That’s what I figured. Ancient man even used to wear shoes and all these woo woo types think they lived to be past 100 years old anyway.
i’ll settle for living in a culture where people stop wearing shoes in their homes and every public/work toilet having a bidet.
My grandma never wore shoes indoors and so my mom and I didn’t either. My dad does though and it’s so weird.
People who wear shoes on their bed

I would love to be paid to write about taking my shoes off.
Paid to have “AI” write about taking my shoes off.
my partner grew up in Asia and was horrified to find out that some Americans wear shoes indoors.
i grew up that way though. it was so common that it bordered on offensive for someone to ask me to remove my shoes at the door.
I’ve been with my partner for 15 years now so I’m completely used to taking my shoes off when i go to people’s houses and i understand just how disgusting it is to not remove them.
my mom came to visit for the first time in 5 years and weeks and wore her shoes the entire time, only taking them off to use the shower to go to bed. i meant to tell her right off the bat but kept getting distracted by all the tea spilling and then it was just too late to tell her after the first couple days.
we ended up buying a steam cleaner and did the whole house after she left.
