I think I heard about it a decade, thought “that sounds like a funny premise”, downloaded it to try playing it, bounced off it quickly (it was very barebones), and then grew up and decided it didn’t sound interesting or worthwhile. But that time has presumably also passed for the developer and at no point did he decide “yeah this is just not worth creating, I’m scrapping the project.”
