enterprise, trip and tucker, people wouldve love to see that romance, but it was done in a way that doesnt ruin the plot of the series if it had happened, as vulcan/human relationship becomes more commonplace later in the franchise.
SPN, between the main cast members, dean and castiel, which made too homoerotic, or slashfictiony, it was wierd when they introduced that in 6-7, skipped like 2 seasons, and then went back to it in 10. kripke did not write them as a couple, it was the new showrunners and the fans.
Dexter. When they introduced a romance between Deb(step sis) and Dexter (step bro) the show started to go down hill. It felt weird and forced.
was deb the one that saw dexter killing the “victim” for the first time in the church. it was kinda wierd how ok she was with it.
They did marry IRL though for a bit
True, I always thought it was endearing that they could still be professional with each other after the marriage ended. The characters getting together was weird.

that whole series was kinda cringe, and i felt like it was a money grab for rob, and propaganda for ubisoft, many people in the subreddit were very put off by the propaganda. i felt like rob was way out of his element for this kind of show.
I almost take that to mean a final season would have had them work through it and realize it was a terrible idea, probably within a few episodes.
I liked Mythic Quest, and I feel bad that it’s remembered for a couple of experimental episodes that worked so well they made the main plot pale in comparison (and for toxic gamers thinking their preferred field of interest was going to get more accurate TV treatment than doctors, lawyers, etc.), but it was definitely on the downslope and I can’t imagine we lost a ton with the cancellation.
Moonlighting was interesting because it’s almost both. There was romantic tension between Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd throughout the series, but once they acted on it there was no tension remaining at all in the show.
And that was weird because the leads were both in danger still.
On the other hand if they had chosen to not go there, it would’ve been a betrayal of the audience, because they had built up that sexual tension past the point of ‘would they might they’.

Burt, really. It just felt forced in my opinion and you could have driven the story without it. It could have been the acting, but I didn’t buy the attraction.
Eh, its purpose was mostly to get Irving against Lumon.
Yeah I hope so. I seen to remember the show’s bible having a rule that they would never get romantically involved. I liked the previous seasons kind of implying poppy was asexual/aromantic, but her actress getting pregnant probably had something to do with the change.
Either way, I agree. The show had some potential and I liked a lot of the characters, but the story kind of petered out.
