Nintendo needs more cash to fund their real business operation which is suing the people who play and like Nintendo games.
How long till they adapt the Konami business model (gambling)?
more like why is switch 2 game so expensive because theres only fucking one. Literally who is buying this shit
45-year-old guy that wears flat-billed snapback hat, possibly has a goatee, and “doesn’t like to get political.”
That and the fact that short-term gratification always outweighs long-term awareness that showing companies that price increases are acceptable grants them permission to do so.
That and 60 dollars in 2016 adjusted for inflation is 80 dollars today
Thank you for the answer, BoTW Link.
On one side I’m mad that game prices are raising, on the other side it feels like we swkm in society’s shit every day and now got mad that one kid started eating more fiber.
What? Isnt there more competition against the switch now more than ever?
If you treat all videogame platforms as essentially the same, yeah, definitely. But you can’t buy Mario Kart on Steam.
But there’s way better more capable more useful handhelds now. What does the switch have outside vendor lock in?
And you can still emulate switch games despite Nintendo being the litigious monster they are.
the steam deck is probably 10x the console the new switch is… the IP of Mario and all that is the only thing Nintendo really has going for it
No doubt you get your money’s worth on other hardware. And I’m a longtime emulator fan, but I recognize that they’re a good step above the average person’s comfort level when it comes to computer gaming.
