The apartment block vs idyllic single family home and white picket fence reminded me of this city-builder game I played ages ago, Black & White 2 where you played as god and constructed a city for your little guys to live in and got good and evil points for your actions. Building multi-story apartment buildings in close proximity to other structures earned Evil Points and building spread-out suburbs where everyone had a lawn earned you Good Points. If you earned enough Evil Points your city would begin to look more and more hellish and dilapidated.

When I was let out of jail they put me out into some seriously deplorable climatic conditions besides having just spent over 2 months in an overcrowded jail(there were three suicides in the jail while I was there) the neighboring states had been on fire all summer, our only recreation area had no real windows but a grate-covered gap to the outside that let smoke fill up the area and we could see the orange sky. My ****** got a short term room for me to I guess ease the transition to me living in my car so I was lucky in that. A 3+ million sub youtuber who has made their whole personality being a Star Wars-guy has not experienced or has no working memory of the original radio play(1981) that accompanied the og Star Wars where the interrogation of Leia is expanded in grisly detail. Wherein the movie the scene mercifully cuts to black with a door closing behind the torture droid with the scary needle, it appears it was always the intention to portray the scene and the writers had in mind what occurred off screen.
