The way i push through the cynical picking apart of movies is to imagine the conditions of the universe that make the thing I’m picking apart make sense.

“Oh in this reality turbines work like this which would imply x y z” (i don’t know how turbines work)

Makes it a lot more fun when something else happens that you can connect to your previous assumptions and create a whole sub-plot about how shit got so weird
