    Who are we kidding, most Americans would look at what Michael Reynolds or Mike Oehler pioneered, and say “haha that looks like trash/dirt, I’d rather live in a stick-frame fiberglass-insulated vinyl-sided one-story single family house, gas furnaces and AC units are the pinnacle of civilization btw”.

    Americans hate ecology because the American Dream is to secure domination, by way of property ownership, as a modicum of victory in the war against everything. The American Dream is to erect a temple to wastefulness, draw a line around it, and contemptuously glare at everyone outside it from behind the line.
