Except a giant robot series where one of the factions was the PLA would probably be fun.
Would be hard to prepare exciting combat sequences when the enemy has offshored all their giant robot factories, and can only launch financial products and intellectual-property delusions though. “Get that sabre-rattling tarriff on the main screen!”
