This is one of the lowest quality vehicles you can buy and some dumbass will pay the price of a house for it and use it to run over school children.

I walked away from a purchase once because they wanted to charge me $1k for some anti theft thing that I didn’t want, I can’t imagine buying even one of these redundant warranties or memberships.

They charge you a grand for a LoJack under the implication that it’s an anti-theft feature you can use.

It’s actually there so they can locate the car at any time to decline service by saying it was your fault for using the car in a way they didn’t approve, and to repo the car if your payment is late.

Luckily, unlike cummunist CHINA you have the freedom to chose between one of the other 4 heredity fiefs when purchasing a car.

having worked at a captive auto lender before, every single financial product add-on is a rip-off. The only exception is brand maintenance on leases (you have to do maintenance anyway, might as well pay upfront and get a bump to your Residual Value, it pays for itself). Don’t buy any anti-theft shit, any GAP insurance, any service contracts (CARS COME WITH A WARRANTY FOR FREE), etc.

The nitrogen in the car tires thing should carry the death penalty. AIR IS MOSTLY NITROGEN, FUCK OFF.

Am I reading the nitrofill add on correctly? $600 for two years of air refills, something my local shop does for free, and $200 off tire replacement? Unless you’re pushing it hard I don’t think it’ll need new tires within two years.

eco-porky watches a video on the externalities of car culture and doesn’t quite get the point:

porky-scared-flipped “Society is paying how much for each one of these damn things? Why am I not seeing any of that money?!”

insurance already is theft protection lmao, it’s literally just paying for nothing. If you buy it, you’re basically just gambling that your car WILL be stolen in the next 2-3 years (quite unlikely)
