They already share a checking account. Seems like marriage is just a formality at this point.

Ok, what about a slow, powerful motor with a couple gears between it and the blades. And everything is well machined and lubricated.
Are the quiet ones subsonic 22 pistols? Do they make the sound from video games?

It’s possible the artist thought it would be funny to use LSD for the model, then just chopped off the parts that are inconvenient for a shelf.

Well, a problem. Because I don’t see the world in black and white and believe there is just one problem, unlike some idiots.

33·1 day agoI agree there must have been a sizable chunk of voters who were unaware that Trump posed a threat to democracy itself, but I assume those people are just generally relatively uninformed. The way I knew he was a threat to democracy was through consuming mainstream media (and some podcasts).
By 2024 Trump had been on the political scene for almost a decade. This was post Jan 6. There was no excuse for putting him back in power. The voters sanewashed him to themselves. People are very adaptable. We are the same species who owned slaves, walked on the moon, tore out peoples hearts at the tops of pyramids, sit in boxes for 8 hours a day, and hunted giant fuzzy elephants to extinction by hand - and all of it is “normal.”
Even today, 37% of Americans think Trump is great!

136·1 day agoWhat % of NYT readers voted for Trump? It has to be minuscule.
The election was so close, there are dozens of but-for causes that could have tipped the scale, but the NYT not being sufficiently alarmist about Trump (which is what that CNN article you linked claims - not that the paper was a proponent of Trump, as you say) probably wasn’t one of them.
It got turned into a religion long after his his death. He died a cult leader, taken out by the state.
Cult members. Jesus was a very successful cult leader in his time. He used the framework of an existing religion, and cast himself as a central figure in it. We’ve seen modern examples of this tactic.
Don’t change tenses in the middle of a sentence.
Now I don’t want to live a little just to spite him.

You can easily ween yourself off nicotine by mixing your own vape juice. Make small batches, lowering the nicotine % by an imperceptible amount each batch until it’s effectively 0%. Then keep vaping 0% until the urge goes away. Do it over the course of a year, and you’ll never notice the drop. No willpower needed.
