Shpongle is a group / collective, not a single dude. It’s mostly Ram and Posford, but there are / were others.
Posford is kind of a big deal for founding Twisted Records, and for being Hallucinogen, releasing the album Twisted under that name. That album was quite something, and pushed many people (including myself) into that particular music genre. It also defined a lot of its style and tropes.
The Astrix remix of Divine Moments of Truth is among the most amazing things one can listen to as part of a psychedelic experience.
I’ve never heard of them, so I thought everybody was bullshitting about a fictional band. The amount of detail in this comment pushed me to look it up, and you’re definitely not making this up lmao. I’m trying this band out this week, and that’s because of you.
