    “Regular people sports”

We field a dozen or so teams of just regular ass people and each week they play other teams of regular ass people at a different sport each week.

Capitalism. 8 billion participants, who can make the most money before they die? There are rules, but if you have enough money there’s no penalty for breaking them.

Mainly an idea for a format change to increase overall watch time and interactivity.

Person who wants to watch survivor or love island etc clicks on the show. The show then has the first episode as normal to introduce everyone, then the viewer is prompted with a list of all the contestants to choose from. Every subsequent episode watched is from that contestant’s perspective and is edited to show them in the most positive light (without outright omitting scenes or manufacturing false information). Of course, viewers are free to go to another contestant’s perspective if they want to see how differently a scene was cut for someone else. I can imagine the talking head section playing out differently too. “Hey all you TobyHeads out there, thanks for all following along with me. I’m kinda freaking at the moment because I wasn’t able to secure immunity this week. Do any of you have any strategies how I can stay in the show? Leave a comment down below and I’ll read them and see what I can do” more of a YouTube-ish interactive thing. The comments might tell them to sabotage another player and the sabotaged player will be so caught off guard that viewers of his perspective would want to watch Toby’s perspective for context.

Shit stickers. People take turns throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. Then in the elimination round they see what happens when the shit hits the fan.
