Yeah, he gave an interview basically blaming the Palestinians and saying that they should just agree to live under a Zionist state. The dumbass literally told an oppressed people to live under apartheid and be happy about it.

Do you have a link for that interview, or context on where to see that?

Every single thing must be about Palestine. Palestine must be the sole litmus test for any and all people forever.

      No.

Apartheid and genocide are two of many litmus tests and, given the context of the post being about apartheid and genocide in Palestine, Mark is failing it badly

Maybe lets get the whole Alberta thing figured out before we go waltzing around the globe telling others how to behave?

This article only has a 2017 reference, would be nice to have some actual reference to their statements, otherwise it means absolutely nothing.

A human position on Palestine wasn’t on the ballot. We have to take that to the streets, to BDS and any other avenue. That’s true voting or not.

What was on the ballot is women’s rights, lgbt+ rights and many more things we take for granted that the Cons try to take away.

You can’t vote for a change in economic systems.

And PP would have done better? Please. Fuck off with this shit.

You vote because there are vulnerable people who have their rights removed or WORSE under conservative and fascist leadership. You vote in solidarity with them.

Voting doesn’t mean you support someone or believe in them. It’s a 1 hour activity you do because you have a duty to those directly harmed by fascism.

For those directly harmed by neoliberalism and settler colonialism there was never a candidate for that. That’s what the other 8765 hours in the year are for. That and surviving our late stage capitalist society. This is true whether or not you vote.

If you’re condemning late stage capitalism by defending an LPC super majority, sorry to tell you: you have your priorities and your perceptions crosswired.

Not as much as people who wasted their vote.

Besides, this is his one most shit opinion, as far as I’m aware; not a representative sample. C’mon, you felt that way before this article, too, right?
