you would probably think no one is dumb enough desing an art event flyer with slop but hold your horses, a close friend of mine did this! and I had the same reaction back then
Me, when I see her comics
Someone said on another comm:
Those last two panels (with blank flyer) are a meme template biding its time.
man if the flyer is AI I’m just going to assume the whole thing is a slop fest.
if the flyer is AI it’s full of MLM shit and should (probably) be avoided. unless they bring back tualatin i’d go back for a crawfish hat
rule #3 of festivals. rule #1, don’t be a creep, rule #2, bring lots of water
Why not just ask an artist to make the flyer?
When I was at a zoo, I don’t remember where, they had AI-generated posters featuring animals that they had in the zoo.
Probably because the artist won’t do it for free or it’s just easier to type a prompt.
I’m not saying that’s better, I’m just saying why it’s happening.
if they want an almost free artist they could be really exploitive and ask a student, who would be ecstatic to do a thing for a real event for cheap
I think this might be the first pizzacake comic I’ve seen where removing the drawings would actually remove information. Normally she’d have a big speech bubble in that third panel explaining in increasingly large text that she doesn’t like AI slop. Maybe she was in a hurry?
You’re joking, right? Its so well-known that actual artists don’t like AI generated art aka slop. Her facial reaction and literal job as a cartoonist & artist speaks volumes. No speech bubble required here.
Reread what I posted. I wasn’t saying she should do it, I’m saying that it’s a departure from her usual format of a panel or two of her strawman saying a thing, and then a panel or two of her winning an argument with them.
