the matrix plot would have made much more sense if they were using humans as bio CPUs rather than batteries… which they have to feed with food (energy).

they were originally suppose to make them about cpu, but the directors assumed audiences wouldnt understand the references, it doesnt make sense since the robots can use nuclear power, geothermal energy, and wind.

Admittedly my recollection was vague. Here’s the first link I found that is telling the story.
https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/strange-story-of-woman-who-successfully-sued-matrix-directors-plagiarism/ Seems like there was reporting about a decade ago that the claimant was successful in her plagiarism lawsuit when she really wasn’t.
https://thingsthatkeepmeupatnight.substack.com/p/the-mother-of-the-matrix-and-the This goes more in depth to her claim and serves to underscore just how tenuous the claims of plagiarism/similarity are.

Thank you, that was my point in a convoluted way. We use so little of our brain power I wonder if we are already hooked up to a matrix and the “unused” is actually in use?

Like the machine figured out how much to let us use to keep us viable and not lose the “crop”?

All neurons does something, not every neuron frequently contributes. Having unused neurons is literally why it’s easy for us to learn things

Stroke is when the brain areas die because of lack of the bloodflow. Or is there some other “stroke”?
