I love the shit out of El-Sayed, but for a quarter of a million dollars, I would cheerfully go ask him stupid questions.

Bet I could do a better job of it than Tommy, too.

This is the only Dean I recognize.

At least that guy was good at something.

Didn’t they do they already?

I have no documents on any such people.

I’m pretty sure that if he publicly says he’s going to disobey orders, that’s grounds for removal, even under a sane president. (Although a sane president might not choose to remove him)

Pretty sure this is a purposeful misunderstanding of why people think public transit is more dangerous than driving.

Which means that not only did you not read the article, you didn’t even read the excerpt displayed on this page.

Even if we accept that, it does little to make him look better. It’s claiming that he can force people to do what he wants, rather than negotiating with them to mutual benefit.

ALSO, Trump can’t seem to handle Iran. What makes him think we can handle Canada?

I’m in favor of all that, too.

Plus, we all know that, whatever the theory, a lot of people just want to duck with Muslims.

Could this man be a bigger asshole?

The men forcing women to dress like this aren’t using the law to force them. Laws forbidding dressing like this are, theoretically, to protect them from being forced.

I’m open to the probability that there are such women. But I can’t imagine that they area anything but a sharp minority.

What about the ones who don’t want to, but are forced into it?

Keep all cheese out of the facility.

Go swimming.

Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Because they know how to and are capable of making sentient holograms, but don’t, means that they are willingly choosing to strip free will from holograms.

Creating puppets instead of people is not stripping free will from anything.

Janeway erases all of Sullivan’s memory of his wife and deletes her. She then coerces him via rewriting his programming to have a relationship with her.

Most holograms aren’t sentient. They are little more than chat bots with greater capacity, and a physical avatar.

The issue with The Doctor is that he is, in some indefinable way “special.” I like him as a character, but the trechnobabble is unacceptable.

I recall a TNG novel that had them beam up some first-contact aliens, and, upon being offered some time to refresh after their journey, one of them said “What journey? I’m not actually convinced I went anywhere.”

Why the fuck do I want a smart monitor? I have a computer, and a video card.

Or is the user conned into installing the LG app under the guise of improved monitor functionality or some such bullshit?

According to the article, the add software is installed with the drivers through Microsoft Update.
