Granted trump isn’t exactly our favorite person in the world but I think that blowing up the plane is a little unsuttle, and may cause some international comment. So I don’t think the chances of the plane being attacked were very likely.
Iran knows that blowing up Trump might lead to someone competent in charge.
You’d have to check out a pretty significant chunk of the upper leadership before you got to someone competent.

He walked onto Air Force One, slipped out a side enterence into a catering truck, and boarded another plane somewhere else down the runway because he was afraid Iran wants to kill him.
Then when they landed in the UK he snuck back onto Air Force One so it could look like he was on it the whole time.
Even reality TV isn’t this dumb. I say this as someone who can’t stand reality TV.
