To be absolutely fair, the extrovert - introvert duality is outdated anyway. We all need each other and we all need to think for ourselves. Somebody who absolutely lacks one aspect of it runs as a disadvantage and would gain from an initiation to either social or solitary activities
That said, I agree that it’s always “introversion” being seen as a disadvantage while the loud idiot stereotype seem to be valued uncritically by US media so I still agree
