It’s incredible how violent language has become near infinitely more offensive than violence itself for the liberal media class.

That’s something that genuinely drives me crazy. Liberals, in particular USian liberals, take the simple act of the threat of violence thought words much more serious than any real acts of violence, unless it’s being racist for example. Not long ago I remember a post on R*ddit where a bunch of libs where flipping out that a black person punched a racist, saying they were both in the wrong. stress

The world would be infinitely better if these lib fucks read the first chapter of The Wretched of the Earth.

Fanon might just be the goat, but I’m also partial to Kwame Ture’s “Pitfalls of Liberalism whose take on (anti)violence is much more readable and accessible. An excerpt from that:

The way the oppressor tries to stop the oppressed from using violence as a means to attain liberation is to raise ethical or moral questions about violence. I want to state emphatically here that violence in any society is neither moral nor is it ethical. It is neither right nor is it wrong. It is just simply a question of who has the power to legalize violence.

It is not a question of whether it is right to kill or it is wrong to kill; killing goes on. Let me give an example: if I were in Vietnam, if I killed thirty yellow people who were pointed out to me by white Americans as my enemy, I would be given a medal. I would become a hero. I would have killed America’s enemy — but America’s enemy is not my enemy. If I were to kill thirty white policemen in Washington, D.C., who have been brutalizing my people and who are my enemy, I would get the electric chair. It is simply a question of who has the power to legalize violence. In Vietnam our violence is legalized by white America. In Washington, D.C., my violence is not legalized, because Africans living in Washington, D.C., do not have the power to legalize their violence.

It’s fun to come from a thread where they’re talking about how Americans jump to violence too fast and the context of that was us Americans telling Greenland to get the American oil drillers who are illegally going to start drilling there the fuck out by any means necessary. Love how we were getting told how American we were for jumping to that yet apparently US liberals are the ones that just hate violent language and are OK with violence. sure thing. It really just feels like anything bad or anything negative whatsoever gets blamed on America conveniently while all of your countries are in cahoots with it.

i love people making my job title their username for clout

Surely you don’t put fucking Gaza above YOU as a person! This is the stupidest fucking argument. If you don’t care about your own neighbor (let’s say they are just like you) then you don’t give a shit about Gaza. You need to help yourself before others. Come the fuck off it.

i do, actually, because i have a soul. i see my white neighbors who can afford an infinitely better life than innocent men women and children being massacred daily in fucking tents and think “i would do anything to give those people what my neighbors can enjoy by sheer dint of luck of where they happen to have been born.” it’s actually a totally human instinct, you’re just a piece of shit who can’t empathize with people who don’t look like you.

comments in that thread already said it better than i possibly could:

The fuck you talking about? We should stop criticising USians just because other global northerners are also shit?

US liberals are the ones that just hate violent language and are OK with violence

Yes, yes they are. A huge amount of USian liberals don’t care an inch about Palestinians as long as it’s dems instead of reps in charge, for example. And then there’s the obvious example I already gave that you can literally see daily on the internet.

It really just feels like anything bad or anything negative whatsoever gets blamed on America conveniently while all of your countries are in cahoots with it

Wow, I wonder why the empire that runs the capitalist world is blamed for most of the issues in said world. i-love-not-thinking

Besides, as comrade diamath already pointed out, you’re a racist, so fuck off and death to Amerikkka amerikkka

I propose an alternate reading of the situation: Sure, as “americans” (bourgeois proletarian subjects of pedo reich) we certainly are conditioned by our culture to be cavalier about violence, especially violence done to other peoples. But by the same token, that means we also know what other americans are like and what it takes to stop us.

Your advice to Greenland is correct and I would really recommend that you read Wretched of the Earth by Dr Franz Fanon, I think you will like it. And I agree that we should all blame Europe more for shitty things they do in collaboration with the US.

I’ve literally seen liberals admit they don’t care what happens to people living in ‘dictatorships’ to explain why it’s okay they only care about Ukraine, putting aside entirely it’s America’s politics, weapons and militarily backed allies that people living in those ‘dictatorships’ are suffering

Tell them Ukraine is also a dictatorship lmao. They killed zelensky’s biggest political opponent, claiming he was collaborating with Russia, some time after they revealed he was actually innocent and they even knew he was innocent when they killed him. Every opposition party has been banned.
