I was initially a skeptic until I was encouraged to use it at work, to see if I could find ways it could help reduce the pain points of my workflows.
I begrudgingly took this as a challenge to disprove it’s usefulness, but quickly found out I kind-of enjoyed trying to figure out what makes it tick, and how to make it output the most reliable and reproducible results for the given task.
A year and a half later, the ability to efficiently use AI for problem solving and automated pipelines has allowed me to breathe new life into my career trajectory as well as my hobbies.
I am an unapologetic AI user and enjoyer.
WeskerSucks was right. 😭
I’m pretty anti-AI but even i see that using it for info gathering or for repetitive tasks it’s different than using it to make stupid memes and bullshit animations to share on social media.
using it to make stupid memes and bullshit animations
IMO that’s also the most boring and lifeless use case for AI, and don’t understand the fascination with that.
It’s refreshing to see a disparate view on the subject. It breaks up the monotony of the anti-AI echo chamber.
I don’t have a problem with AI at all. As usual, my problem is with the billionaires and corporations creating it.
My misled, ideal, utopian vision would be seeing it become a public service/utility, and that we find a less destructive way to power the infrastructure needed to scale.
This reads like heavy clanker apologia. I reject it but, I’m glad you “got this off your chest”.
I assure you we wrote this.
Christmas is ruined 😢
Don’t be naughty or Santa Claude won’t bring you any tokens.
How much are they paying you?
I’m paying them. Am I getting ripped off?
Especially for search!
There is 0 proof that you are not an escaped openclaw bot spreading pro AI propaganda…
There was 80 proof on your dad’s breath last night as we kissed.
honestly it doesnt matter what our views on AI are: its the weens, they will grow up with it and wont see the massive landscape change like we did
