Wikipedia and citing arbitrary individuals as “notable sources”,
Bernie posted about Theodore Roosevelt a few days ago, and after a little refresher on Teddy, I realized that Trump is a lot like him on foreign policy. Teddy’s views on American imperialism, spheres of influence etc. still reverberate to this day. This would really upset the liberals to figure out though.
Trump = Teddy = Stalin (supposedly)
Wait, why are they making the ACP seem cool? Am I confusing Hinkle and Hickel again? I thought the ACP were the patsocs. But why would they uphold Stalin who was decidedly against nationalism I thought. Also talking about abandoning Marxism-Leninisn for Stalinism is really funny considering most of the synthesizing of Marx and Lenin was helped by Stalin.
lmao the ACP split from CPUSA. We should start calling them Trotskyists because it would piss them off.
They are ultraleft in essence and right-opportunist in rhetoric.
idk where I would actually pin them down. They’re definitely not comrades though.
Actual irl national socialists. Like the ones killed in the night of long knives. Sheepdogs essentially.
Strasserites?
Strasserism is explicitly anti-communist, so not exactly.
The ACP are a lot like the “Workers’ Party” part of the Nazi party. They channel workers’ rightful grief in a very Hitler-y direction.
They serve a dual purpose of misrepresenting the contemporary consensus among communists and turning the new wave of “China-pilled” workers into chuds.
The Strasserites did call themselves socialist though and did the opposite of socialism, similar to the ACP calling themselves communist and doing the opposite.
Laroucheism with Duginite characteristics.
Not even joking.
petty bourgeois radicals, nothing new under the sun.
Yeah I just call them Nazis because they are filling the same role. Co-opting left rhetoric for reactionary ends with a fuckload of hitler particles.
Many such cases
there is nothing cool about the fascist party
That’s what I thought, the page was just saying how they upheld Marxism-Leninisn, “Stalinism,” and Mao Zedong thought, and I thought that sounds a lot cooler than what I thought I knew about them.
The wiki editor that added that section, Aunger67, looks like a DSA lib. Never assume anything on Wikipedia is 100% accurate or unbiased.
Yeah, that’s my bad. So apparently ACP is as bad as I thought they were.
