    National socialist (noun) isn’t the same as socialism (adjective)

    Socialism is a noun not an adjective, and national socialist can be used as an adjective (eg., the national socialist policies of the Third Reich included promotion of eugenics to essentialize behaviours, in much the same way as Catpain Typo).

      No this is a literal belief that a lot of people hold. The flip side of the truism is that “liberals” have “shriveled” amygdala’s and are therefore inferior. It’s true on average that conservatives have more active amygdalas, but there are a lot of statistics that are accurate on average and it doesn’t justify using them to judge people.

        For all we know, being a conservative causes your brain to get dopamine hits from fear and outrage. So the “amygdala makes you conservative” doesn’t hold water (which you pointed out with statistics being a fuck).

        It’s just confusing corelation with causation. Amygdala size does not a conservative make, no matter how much the numbers match.
