    A “failed nation” thay has persisted through embargo for how long now?
    Sounds pretty damn strong to me.

    Why don’t they rely on mexico and LATAM instead of the US?

    Regardless, if they need the US to agree with them to exist, they really would be a failed state, because the US—home of capitalist imperialism— would never.

      Cuba doesn’t rely on the US, the US prevents people from trading with Cuba with sanctions and embargoes.

        i.e. if a country trades with Cuba, the US hits them with sanctions as a punishment (or threatens to)?
