Do it!
Sorry I am late
Swastik the band - Jogi - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OD7d1e1mwyQ
I usually like the music more than lyrics, but most of my favorites are lyricals, and this has best of lytrics and the music. there is flute, guitar, indian classic and western stuff all mixed. It is my daily alarm.
This was fantastic. Beautifully produced and well orchestrated with a good MV too
9/10
Too many favourites to choose from, but the last one I listened to is this: Bruce Springsteen - I’m on fire.
This was nice. I wish it went on longer though
8/10
This song only has 484 views over 3 years, but I really like the tune.
This wasn’t bad. Unfortunately I’m not really a fan of this type of country music. Very 60s—correct me if I’m wrong.
I’ll give 5/10
It’s actually from 2022. I’d call it somewhat new age folk as I know they have an electric violin. Thanks for checking out the song! Love the idea for this post.
This wasn’t too bad.
I’ll say 6/10
A song of two halves, where the background bass line becomes the front row brass.
That was a fantastic piece!
10/10
Solid track. Nice bass groove.
8/10
I just want his voice to narrate my life for a bit. Also, OP, you need to drop your favourite so we can judge you too
Hmm let’s see. Hard to pick one, but I have to go for this:
Not my thing but not bad. Drum beat is gonna be stuck in my head now though. 7/10
Fair play man. Thanks for listening 👍
Fun jam, I enjoyed that.
All his music is a fun wholesome bop really. He was a Eurovision contestant during covid so his second entry after the shutdown was a love song to his wife for their 10 year anniversary.
Holy fuck, that was a hard listen😭
I give it 7/10. Good beat, but i was cringing all through the song. Sorry!
One of my favourites is definitely: Queen - The Show Must Go On
Not my favourite queen song, but enjoyable as always.
7/10
19 fucking mins i can’t listen to it all gang😭🙏
Ah man. Always so relevant. Ancient but ever present present.
Listening to this version I think the mastering could be better. The intro is killer and haunting, but the bass is blown out at 1:37. You have to be careful with this song and NOFX always knew that if you listen to the original album version. Its got a point to make and if you take it too lightly you can’t make the point. Like I’d really like to hear this without the audience noise and maybe not a full orchestra, just the bass and brass section. The winds and percussion (especially the xylophone) are too light-hearted.
I actually prefer this version over the album version. Sure, the sound could be improved here and there. But it’s punkrock in the end. Doesn’t need to be perfect.
Don’t know that i have a definitive “favorite”, but
Pink Floyd - Time
Timeless (heh) Pink Floyd classic right here
9/10
Finally a DnB track. Absolutely gorgeous vocals and breaks!
9/10
Genuinely any of the full length songs on the album tho…

This song is fantastic WTH!! This track is so clean, it’s crazy!!
11/10. I’m def checking out the whole album
Gives me a Stevie Wonder vibe in his prime.
It breaks my heart then to tell you I lied, Longcat is my favorite song
Aaaah i see what you’re doing. You’re trying to bait me into rating more than one song because i liked the first one ;). I’ll grant you one more rate.
9/10. I feel it’s too short to be as good as the first, but still an excellent song.
Is that an all female band? That’s sick🤘
I can’t help but hear some Gojira/Meshuggah influence, and I’m a big fan of those two bands.
So, that’s a solid 9/10 from me
Yep all women. They’ve been my gateway into the genre. I’ve not gotten into it much because I like being able to understand vocals with minimal effort, but I feel like the vocalist in Crypta does a pretty good job at being articulate and it’s raised my tolerance enough for me to explore some other bands.
Thanks for the post btw, I’ve been enjoying some new artists and great classics so far :D
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed the post
Not bad. I feel like I’ve heard too much of this style of rock though and have grown tired of it.
5/10
Thanks for responding! This has been a good casual conversation.
Damn that’s tough. I would say either Lola Montez by Volbeat or Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
2 very good selections from you here, but inevitably, Pink Floyd has to come out on top.
9/10 for Comfortably Numb and 7/10 for Lola Montez
Can’t argue with that! :)
