I should watch this again. It’s been a bit.

Gary Oldman. Man, that guy has range.

He’s still vibing as Chris Tucker. It’s fantastic Chris Tucker, but it’s still Chris Tucker.

With commissioner Gordon I was initially squinting at him asking if it was Oldman. In old horses I almost want to cover my nose, the man is acting a smell so well.

I don’t follow much celebrity news, but even if he was “singing for my supper” it’s still good. I knew about his early raging alcoholism, divorce, and serial infidelities, because I went digging for it, but not any of this.

Can’t wait to see the part where Pete Hegseth is crawling around in the heat of battle and you ask him to pass a gun but he can’t understand and instead smiles like an idiot as he throws you a couple of billiard balls.

The idea wasn’t without precedent even at the time the movie came out.

The movie ‘Her’ came out in 2013.

A quick search says that over half the population has had some kind of ‘intimate’ conversation with an AI in 2025.

Over half the population? Doesn’t honestly sound right at all. If you had said 30% I would’ve still had my doubts. In any case this clearly isn’t a worldwide thing because huge swaths of developing countries would not even have access to an LLM.

according to 2 of the first results on duckduckgo, 68% of the world uses the internet

half of the population would be 74% of the internet users.

other than a website saying that 97% of internet users use AI daily(generative AI, not using the broad definition), i could not find any number that would come close to the required 74% that, assuming 100% of generative AI users are using it for that kind of conversations, would make that statistic accurate
