Alright. I was sick for the past few days but it seems to be Autistic burnout rather than cold/flu… regardless, I’ve mostly recovered which is good. Can go back to playing my favorite games now

The local arcade doesn’t have much but they do have a Pump It Up 2024 cab, which I’ve been playing a lot recently. I think I can clear some easier lvl 16s now which is good (it might not mean much for ppl who don’t play, but lvl 16 isn’t that easy)

Pretty good now that an obscene amount of packages from Digikey have arrived. My soldering iron is heating up so I can start connecting it all together, and a mount base for everything is in the queue of my 3D printer

Badly. The higher-ups at work decided to severely limit their WFH policy to promote “accountability” and “collaboration” so now I’m looking for a new job. Their pay wasn’t great before but they at least had a more flexible WFH policy, now that they removed it they’re competing with similar companies that pay more.

It’s been chill. I have a fun weekend ahead, always good to have some fulfilment on my time off.

I have seen lots of extra birdies outside this week. Makes me feel happy.

Pretty good. Week 2 of riding to work, and I’m feeling stronger already. Continuing to refine my route to make it flow better, and didn’t get honked at by a bus all week.

Had a weird interaction yesterday on the way home, though. Some toothless derro on the footpath tapped me on my shoulder while I was stopped at a traffic light in the CBD to get my attention. I popped out an earbud to hear what he had to say and he asked how I was going. “Good. Loving it.” “How’s the buses?” “No problem. I go faster than them.” “Well, I hope you get run over” - fucking what? Toothless derros, amiright? - “Haha. Fuck you!” and put my earbud back in. He looked a bit shocked - did I mishear him and he actually said “I hope you don’t get run over”? Sorry, toothless derro, if that was the case.

Also a customer, or rather a customer’s mother, put in a hair-brained complaint against me which is always hilarious as I know my boss will tear them a new arsehole on my behalf. She doesn’t take life threatening situations lightly. :)
