I am pretty sure those swords are longer than 1 and a half hands.
I’ve always had a mild curiosity regarding the name of that sword. Maybe I will remember to look it up one of these days… lol.
I believe it’s because it’s neither ‘truly’ made for one-hand or two-handed use. It’s a middle point, mixed between the two - a bastard.
