    I was disappointed when they moved from floppies to CDs. The floppies you could reformat and reuse for whatever you wanted. The CDs were just coasters.

      My grandma hung them up outside to… do something, I don’t really remember, keep squirrels away from birdfeeders maybe, something like that.

        I remember them as HD floppies, 1.4MB. Maybe they were a later generation before they moved to CDs.

    My half-brother is 20 and I was telling him that at my first IT job how I had to go around to every computer with a CD to install Office. His response, “oh, is that what CDs were for?”
