On the one hand, I’m glad that Bashir / Garak is finally canon, but on the other hand, I wish it were canonized in a piece of media that wasn’t Lower Decks.
Eh, I tried watching the first three seasons a few years back and it never caught me. I respect that it seems to have a lot of reverence for the source material, but I just don’t enjoy the humor.

I mean it would be nice if it had happened on DS9 yeah but Lower Decks is legit the best Star Trek anything that has been released in like 30 years
Agreed. It’s the first Trek I’ve seen in a long time that felt like it was coming from the same place as the TNG era shows
