I watched the Anime again so I had to read the Epilogue and Extra Chapters.
Question about the Epilogue (Mostly Part 3 spoilers, 1 Part 4 Spoiler)
In the epilogue they use Mynes citizenship disc as a grave marker.
In a later volume we learn the importance of them and that the Aub can use it to kill a citizen.
Does this not leave Myne at risk by having her Disc just sat there? Any Aub or Arch Ducal family member could use it to dispose of Myne.
Theories for why it’s safe:
The majority of her enemies are Nobel’s who would not know of the practise
No noble would debase themselves going downtown
[Part 4 Spoiler] The colour no longer matches Myne as she was Dyed a different colour. ( But then wouldn’t the Nobels who got married have mismatching discs?)

I love the Anime and the LN is just as good. Lots of little bits of extra information. Things fall into place better, I finally understand why characters react the way they did.
Examples:
Tomoe on purposely took the male attacker back, so was actually surprised when it turned out they were female.
The way the contracts work from names being a vital part and consummating the contract?
Ace Mils actually cheated the level paper. (The anime hints but doesn’t say it outright)
Rembrandts history and why Tomoe say he was actually a bad person
Glad you are enjoying Tsukimichi! The first season of the show in particular did a lot of trimming and rearranging of the source to better fit a seasonal anime structure. They basically cut out all of the other POVs (the other heroes) from the first season and moved it into the second season.
If memory serves, granting of a name gives those under a ruling contract more power. Also, if the name is closely aligned with the personality/abilities of the named, then it kind of synergizes and provides more of a boost. This is an idea that was kind of introduced into the story, but hasn’t really been heavily explored or expanded as the story has gone on. If you find the mechanic interesting, then a very similar thing is done in Reincarnated as a Slime where it is much more fundamental and fleshed out.
The idea of “true names” is a very ancient one in mythology and literature. Based on the wiki page, it looks like it goes all they way back to Egyptian mythology. Off the top of my head, it is a feature in an epic like The Odyssey by Homer as well as a fairy tale like Rumpelstiltskin.
Getting back to Reincarnated as a Slime, lots of people like to compare Tsukimichi and Slime. The two series bear a lot of similarities in their worldbuilding and mechanics (naming being one of them). Slime was published later, but adapted into anime first, but they do tend to draw inspiration from one another.

A: No, Ferdinand knew the dangers of this and acted accordingly. The medal on her grave is an unused one that nobody is registered to, while her commoner one has been safely disposed of.”

Yeah the Myths and Legends Podcast had an episode on Egyptian Mythology. If I remember correct Ra was the top god as he knew the true names so could bring them into existence.
