If you’re not familiar, my home instance is run by SDF.org, which is the home of the Super Dimensional Fortress, an old-school BBS turned to a 501©7 non-profit running a public Unix system (aka Pubnix). I chose them for my home instance because of their mission centering on free and open sharing of knowledge, non-commercialism, and interesting (and often esoteric) technologies.
