“Last week, it was revealed that one of those under arrest is a former Egyptian soldier named Ali Mohamed, who is alleged to have provided training and assistance to Mr bin Laden’s operatives. Yet Mr Mohamed, it is clear from his record, was working for the US government at the time he provided the training: he was a Green Beret, part of America’s Special Forces.”
“But by the mid-1990s, America’s view of Al-Kifah had changed. It discovered that several of those charged with the World Trade Centre bombing and the New York landmarks bombings were former Afghan veterans, recruited through the Brooklyn-based organisation. Many of those the US had trained and recruited for a war were still fighting: but now it was against America. A confidential CIA internal survey concluded that it was “partly culpable” for the World Trade Centre bomb, according to reports at the time.”
“It had already been known that in 1989, Mr Ali came to the New York area to train mujahedin on their way to Afghanistan. Those visits have put him in the spotlight once before: among those he trained was El Sayyid Nosair, who was jailed in 1995 for killing Rabbi Meir Kahane, leader of the Jewish Defence League, and, along with several others, with plotting to blow up several New York landmarks. “

“Al-Kifah Refugee Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., a dreary inner-city building that doubled as a recruiting post for the CIA seeking to steer fresh troops to the mujahedin.” “On the weekends he visited the Al-Kifah Refugee Center in Brooklyn, where he stayed with none other than El Sayyid Nosair, the man who struck the first blow in the holy war by murdering Rabbi Kahane.”

The title of this post is currently:
One of the first Islamic terrorist in modern American history was CIA trained El Sayyid Nosair who killed Rabbi Meir Kahane, a Zionist terrorist leader going to blew up several New York landmarks.
This is very confusing because it implies that Nosair killed Kahane because he (Kahane) was plotting to blow up New York landmarks. But, the article does not actually even mention the fact that Kahane was himself a terrorist in NY and elsewhere - it just calls him the “leader of the Jewish Defence League” and then says Nosair was the one plotting to blow up landmarks:
Those visits have put him in the spotlight once before: among those he trained was El Sayyid Nosair, who was jailed in 1995 for killing Rabbi Meir Kahane, leader of the Jewish Defence League, and, along with several others, with plotting to blow up several New York landmarks.
imo you should update your post title.
My word limit will not allow for all of that. I changed it though. From “going to”, to “plot” because I did not have enough space for plotted.
Huh? Now it says “a Zionist terrorist leader who plot to blew up several New York landmarks” - but the article is not saying that the zionlist leader/terrorist was plotting to blow up NY landmarks - it’s saying the Nosair and others were. (Kohane was among other things planning to blow up the Iraqi embassy, but, again, that isn’t mentioned in this article.)
Ok, you’re right
despite the author failing to adequately inform the reader about who Kohane actually was, it’s a very interesting article nonetheless!
Yes, Al-Kifah Refugee Center is interesting, but it is also kind of a like an incomplete rabbit hole. Here are my notes.

[I was wrong, Meir Kahne was not going to blow up several New York landmarks, it was the boys from Al-Kifah.] “It had already been known that in 1989, Mr Ali came to the New York area to train mujahedin on their way to Afghanistan. Al-Kifah Refugee Center’s Boston Branch and Care International (Boston) https://charityandsecurity.org/litigation/care-international/
Al-Kifah Refugee Center’s Boston Branch would create Care International in 1993 following the 1993 World Trade Center bombing which was connected to the Brookyln branch leading to the Boston Branch to separate under the Care International name.
This would lead to the charging of three: Emadeddin Muntasser. Samir Al-Monia, and Muhamed Mubayyid
Care International and Ptech?
