Edit: according to one of the comments you can’t turn it off, i’ll probably stop updating just in case they push this to more games. Man am i happy PS5 is my last console lmao
The way I read it it’s a library that developers can use in their games, and the first games that use it offer it as a separate graphics option.
Yeah I guess they won’t force it unless a game can’t run decently without it.

Yeah, that’s my understanding as well.
As long as it’s an option I don’t have to use- I don’t really care.
It can’t do harm even if I’m slowly moving away to Linux gaming.
If it’s a feature which makes the PS5 last for longer, I’m all for it!
