I have heard that some collectibles are difficult to find, and the combat is pretty simple, hopefully they will improve the latter in their next game, whenever / whatever that is.
Happy Cake Day!
I am a bit annoyed at the enemy placement / aggressiveness in this game, may main missions require you to pass through or get close a high level enemy, which can be pretty annoying. Other than that, it’s a pretty fun game.
Interesting about the Yumia game, I guess it’s the one to skip.
I still have Zero Escape (and Danganronpa) series to play, will probably get around to it this year. Let’s see how that pans out.
lol, good luck with the Father’s day, should remind my kids about that too 😀
This should have come to Switch too!
Yes. Currently announced / released games with $80 price tag for digital:
Just a correction, AAA games aren’t less common. We are getting more and more indies, but we are also getting more AAA games than ever. It’s possible that percentage of AAA games compared to indie games has changed, but that is because of increased indie output.
Don’t have any official stats, but as someone who keeps an eye on upcoming games, there are tons of AAA games coming out pretty much every year.
I am pretty sure we will get Switch 2 lite and Switch 2 OLED down the line.
Yeah, day-1 launch on Extra.
Yeah, everyone who has used OLED doesn’t want to go back to the LCD version. It’s possible they did it manage the price, or maybe they are just hoping for people double dipping if OLED is released later, or it could be the mix of both. Who knows.
Beating Switch 1 might be a tough one. Let’s see how the year 2 and 3 sales number are first.
Upvote for use of the word cromulent, it doesn’t get enough use. 😀
Buying on launch is generally for hardcore fans. If you are happy with Switch, nothing wrong with waiting a while and seeing how Switch 2 looks in an year or so, and also how the rest of the gaming ecosystem is at that time.
I am happy with my Switch 1, and Switch 2 is exactly what I wanted, a backward compatible “better” Switch, like PS5 after PS4, so I am going with Switch 2.
On the other hand, if you don’t care about Nintendo first party games, Steam Deck can be a good choice. Or if you can wait a couple of years, there might be Steam Deck 2, which will probably be better than both Steam Deck and Switch 2.
Oooh, interesting.
Was reading about it, apparently the first year is always supply constrained, not demand constrained (unless it’s a complete flop or something), and Nintendo prepared a lot of supply.
Hehe, that used to be me and my wife in Tetris. Now she accepts that she is much better than me 😀
Let me summon my friend @Phelpssan@lemmy.world for the Xenoblade question. Is the Chapter 13 new content for the DE?
I was hoping for a proper single-player Splatoon game when they were teasing Splatoon 3. Glad that we are finally getting it!
They were quiet for so long, I was worried it has been cancelled. Nice to see it’s still coming.
I was so busy I forgot to write!
Tsk tsk. It’s your first time so letting this slide, but this shouldn’t happen again Mr. Deutsch!
Dominion is our house favourite. We eventually got one expansion but just the base game has been played dozens if not hundreds of time.
How are you liking Mario Kart World? sdcSpace commented below (or above, however you have the comments sorted) about not being a fan of Grand Prix format. Have you tried that yet? And most importantly, did you really let her win? 😀
I am still at Picross S5, I usually play them semi regularly, but haven’t opened it even once since I started Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Ah so Chapter 13 is new content? And is that the last chapter or there is more after that?
I believe it’s the remaster of the first one.
