I’m not an analyst but I knew that was going to happen like 2 months ago. The oil reserves and stolen oil have all been about used up or too close to the bare minimum they need to keep as a reserve. I figured they’d try keeping it propped up until novembers elections if they could make it last even that long.
It’s also going to stay fucked for a good long while. EV’s are going to start getting a lot more product share. Damned shame all the affordable ones aren’t allowed to be sold in the US.
Seems to me that anybody who can do high school level math understood that taking roughly 30% of a commodity off the market will cause a crisis.
The ONLY reason People would vote AGAINST these HUGE PRICES that are STRANGLING the Working Class led by a President who “doesn’t think about” our financial situation AT ALL is FRAUD!

I have no problem with imprisoning, enslaving, or outright executing Republicans at this point. All of them. The rich can be tortured and killed, the poor can be used as slaves. Let’s give them the return to slavery that they’ve always wanted

Prices in the U.S. are rising so fast that industry officials are bracing for potential intervention from the White House or Congress, which has few tools left to confront the spiraling costs. One of the remaining options would be an export ban on diesel, which could create chaos in global markets and not necessarily lower prices in the U.S., as domestic refineries are already running at capacity.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-South Dakota) told reporters Tuesday that he is open to considering it. “We’ll be looking at any proposal that is a viable solution, but I do think if we have the supply in this country and we’re exporting it right now that might be one way of getting at it,” he said in response to a question, according to a report in Bloomberg News. “If that would take pressure off of prices, you know, I’m open to exploring it.”
If the US bans exports I think Europeans are going to be rethinking their commitment to Ukraine.
It’s really incredible to me how the Europeans managed to end up in a position where they’re pretty much entirely dependent on American energy exports now.
