I honestly can’t tell if there’s something up with my browser or if lemmygrad is having a ton of problems lately. Half the time I can’t even load the site at all, it gets stuck at that browser checker thing and never does anything, the other half of the time there’s no formatting or all the images are missing. It’s really weird. I finally got everything to load properly for the first time in days just now after refreshing like 3 - 4 times on the homepage. There’s no favicon anymore either. It used to be the little lemmygrad icon but now its gone.

I don’t seem to have any issues with any other sites like hexbear or even lemmy.ml so that makes me think something is up here, but I can’t be sure.

sometimes it fails, but those are issues that i understand are a big load of effort in a reduced group of people that aren’t rich techbros to keep a controversial communist site with social network characteristics

I think/ hope all of us keep that in mind.

My other concerns are like some instances have had DDoS issues and other attacks. I try not to think that way, but it’s certainly crossed my mind, although my initial reaction was, “did I say something to get a ban?” And also, my own service is sketchy af and every time it levels out so I forget about it, it acts up again and I catch it when I have reason to be in more populous /urban areas.

I’ve had some off and on image loading issues when I’ve visited. Hopefully everything gets sorted, I like it here.

Yeah this happens to me too. My guess is that this is an anubis/nginx issue but I know nothing about those so I can’t fix. Paging @muad_dibber@lemmygrad.ml maybe they know what’s up.
