Ah I was thinking you must have lived somewhere else because you can rent say a Uhaul in every state I figured, and they clearly don’t even have rear windows. I too prefer to be able to see the lights through the vehicle in front of me but I’m not so sure I think my preference there should override others choice of privacy. I’d like to think it is the safer option though
Nothing to be done about opaque vehicles like box trucks and work vans unfortunately. But if you’re driving on public roads you are in public, and should not have an expectation of privacy.
