I really need to find some good 0% drinks. I love most alcoholic beverages for more than their ABV (and usually when I drink I wish I wasn’t slowly getting drunk) but I’m yet to find good 0% options for most drinks. I’ve had a single good 0% light beer and that’s it. Every whiskey, rum, dark beer I’ve tried 0% has been genuinely bad. If grape juice counts for wine then I love that too but that’s it. I need to explore more though.

There’s a big difference between 0% and 0.5% beer in my experience. Probably something about the process. In my neck of the woods 2.5% is also common and that can taste just like normal beer except the lower alcohol content gets you much less drunk.

The only NA beer I’ve ever had that was both good and tasted like actual beer is Brewdog’s Punk AF. Mostly because it’s loaded with so much hops that it tastes like an IPA first and a beer second. Most other NA beers I’ve tasted had that raw grainy character that really disturbed me.

Athletic Brewing makes some pretty good NA beers. I particularly like their stout, but they have two IPAs that are tasty too.

As someone who drinks a lot of beer, have to disagree. I’ve thought all theirs were just garbage, for lack of a better/more charitable term.

For something that actually approaches “real” beer taste I’ve only found Guinness and Sam Adams just the haze beers to be close (and the latter is fine, not amazing.)

          Jmho though.

That’s going to be the difference in taste buds. Normal Guinness is okay to me, but I prefer a richer stout. The NA Guinness tastes like metal to me.
