Artichoke ‘lobster’ rolls
Vegan french onion dip + old bay chips
Corn/cucumber/tomato salad
Leftover spicy ginger cilantro slaw
And leftover manchurian cauliflower

GIVE
Just call them artichoke salad rolls
But that would mean i put minced radishes in to make it look more lobstery for nothing
I’m with pkmk. Never eaten lobster in my life. I love artichoke, but calling it lobster makes me not want it because I assume it’ll taste like the ocean. The radishes sound like a great addition
I just make what I’m told to make
I call it artichoke salad when i just put out the leftover filling the next day

I know the plating looks lazy
Nah looks delicious
thank you it’s just this was a plate i just made for myself so i really slopped it on there
Also artichoke as a substitute for lobster or crab is fuckin genius
Definitely beats my current meal of minute rice plopped into canned lentil soup.
Gonna need to know more about this artichoke strat. Looks good!
Here’s the recipe

I basically ignore all those quantities and vibe it out to taste good, also i add garlic and onion powder and some lemon seasoned salt, i also add some minced radish because i think the red chunks look lobstery
The artichokes come in canned and the executive chef just uses them as is but i think that’s hack shit, I season them, roast them, then cool them down before pulsing them in the food processor to look like shredded lobster before i mix in the other ingredients
Edit: also note the instructions include dulse but not the ingredient list, we’ve never had it so ive never used it but if you can find it I imagine it would add fishiness + the red flake effect i tried to replicate with radishes
I should try that sometimes. I even got artichoke hearts in my freezer for some reason.
Never seen a recipe mention to wash your hands or gloves.
I think thats because they work in a commercial kitchen and that is health code prep instructions
