    Republicans run for office by complaining about how corrupt Government is, then get elected and prove it.

    They didn’t care to notice before gas was expensive. Not like it’s any more corrupt than it was before the war. People are just oblivious to the world around them most of the time.

    The poll finds that a narrow majority of Americans (51%) say they think the level of corruption under the Trump administration is worse than under other recent presidential administrations (22% say levels of corruption are better, while 24% say they are about the same). Americans are slightly more likely to describe the Republican Party as “more corrupt” than the Democratic Party (49% vs. 41%).

    The poll also explores views of President Donald Trump’s presidency and attitudes towards the war in Iran. Overall, 33% of Americans approve of how Trump is handling his job as president, compared to 64% that disapprove. Meanwhile, four-in-five say they think U.S. military involvement in Iran will go on for an extended period of time and most say they disapprove of U.S. military strikes on the country.
