Thu Thao emphasized that this friendship is not only manifested in declarations or historical milestones, but also in concrete actions, in sharing during difficult times, and in the mutual support between the two nations. “An entire generation of Vietnamese grew up hearing stories about the solidarity and affection that Cuba showed to Vietnam. We are the generation that came after; we didn’t directly experience those difficult years, but we have inherited an invaluable legacy: the friendship, loyalty, and profound solidarity that the Cuban people have always shown to the Vietnamese people,” he recalled.
