Honestly, the Avatar movie kinda sucked though.

    Honestly, nothing substantial happened.

I had not watched a movie for more than a year and yesterday i decided to open up Netflix, and chose the first thing there. The lady in cabin 10 or smt like that, it’s like a boring Glass Onion clone. Not 10 mins in and it tries to whitewash the Guardian as honest journalism and has a mention of brave kurdish women, also

    spoiler

literally every guy was a villain and every woman was dope.

I drew the murderous aberration that drags people into the murky depths cutely, so you think Stalin’s great blood hunt was a bad thing now right?

This has been going on for a while now but its absolutely dire seeing companies on the pride parade. Fuck you mean Takeaway needs a boat? Let them not abuse their employees first.

I hate the fact that, in scifi book reading circles 1984 novel has become a standard of “dystopia”. I can’t escape it.

You misheard. There was a suggestion that there could be posts that leaned to the affirmative but there was no commitment overt or implied.

To explain why Netflix Philippines is replying, the rest of the thread shows she is essentially writing sapphic YA fanfiction based on Filipino mythology. It’s going in the files.

People really overestimate how much of what they see online is organic especially when they want to believe there is some kind of pipeline from not wanting to fund Ukrainian neonazis to hating charming gay etcetera people. The truncated bit is a lot more important than the header. It concerns infiltration of Iranian and Yemeni media spaces.

Not the only people who called out Ahmed Hassan for promoting these idiots. I don’t think his repeated paper-thin denials about it point to an honest mistake. Maybe he is just really hungry for clout, but that wouldn’t be very Ansarallah of him so don’t start excusing that please. Like there’s gotta be at least one Catherine Shakdam lurking around still, we know that because she willingly revealed herself to mock the Iranians. So I’m guessing there are hundreds of Catherines.

The moment external investors acquire ownership interests in FIFA competitions, football changes forever. Commercial return becomes a permanent obligation. Investor expectations become a daily pressure. From that moment onwards, every decision on the international calendar, every decision on competition formats and every decision shaping the future of football is no longer driven by what best serves the game, but by what best serves shareholders. — UEFA statement

Quite interesting that top executives from UEFA, whom also are quite embedded in the global finance capitalism, can acknowledge this fundamental reality. This is not even about football, it’s a reality that permeates every single corporate institution these days.
